~Birthday Goodies~

Birthdays are just the best!! 

My lovely sister splurged on me with this bag which I adore and have been using almost every day since I've received it! I treated myself to the scarf and my sister bought for herself the nail polish. 

This bag is great because it can be worn with almost anything, although the strap is quite long when tightened to the maximum. Non the less, it gives you this great bohemian look. 

Same goes for the scarf, which I am constantly using as well, either in my hair or simply tied to my bags. Its so lovely and summer-y! 

I've gotten so many compliments on the nail polish, which suits a tan wonderfully, because of its pastel like colour. It looks great with all kinds of outfits!

Anyone say Chung?

 This is someone whose shoes I'd love to be in for one day if i could...

I think that I've found my new obsession: Alexa Chung. She is probably one of the best dressed women out there and I can't get enough of her! Her style is so simple, yet classy, and effortless-looking that she deffinatlely tops my list of 'it girls'.  

This british model turned designer (although she still models) now has her own collection for Madewell, does charity work and has hosted many TV shows and is bursting at the seems with passion for what she does. 

She is really the one to watch out for over the next few months!

Burlesque!!!

Being a lover of musicals since I was a girl, I absolutely cannot wait to see this movie! I'm so excited to see what Chritina can do! The trailer makes it look so good; I hope I won't be disappointed!! Haha, I have a feeling I'll be singing the songs non-stop after watching it! And then downloading all of it onto my iPod of course. Fall colours in High Park

Wear lots of knits this fall as well even though winter is right around the corner.. It's a great way to keep warm while looking great!

I'm in love with the beautiful colours fall brings! We shot these pictures on the last weekend where the leaves were still vibrant; it would have been too bad to have missed them!

Teen Vogue Fashion U 2010

 

Zac Posen everyone! He was very inspiring and had great advice about how to get your foot in the door of the fashion industry,

During his presentation they showed slides with pictures of his newest collection.

Teen Vogue offices! Although I did not get to go into the headquarters I did have the chance to go into the GQ offices and other publications in the Conde Nast building.

This October, I got to experience a great event called Teen Vogue Fashion U. The application process was in August and decision was sent back in September.
